Presented during Milan Fashion Week on 27 February, NISSA unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 -2027 collection, Sculpted Instinct. Experiencing the presentation firsthand, it was immediately clear that the brand has entered a new phase of aesthetic maturity – one defined by sculptural tailoring, refined silhouettes, and a confident interpretation of contemporary femininity.
Drawing inspiration from the silent strength and graceful movement of equestrian forms, the collection explored the tension between discipline and instinct. Sculpted waists, elongated lines, and architectural shoulders shaped silhouettes that felt both powerful and serene. Precision tailoring anchored the collection, allowing each garment to hold its structure while still conveying a sense of fluidity and motion.
From my point of view, the strongest impression came from the clarity and intention behind the silhouettes. Corseted bodices, sculptural dresses, and elongated black forms created a striking vision of femininity – one that felt refined, commanding, and deeply considered. Instead of relying on embellishment, NISSA focused on proportion, structure, and construction to define its visual identity this season.
Material contrasts added further nuance to the collection’s narrative. Rich fabrics and layered textures created a dialogue between structure and softness, while the movement of the garments introduced rhythm and dynamism to the runway. Deep jewel tones and grounding dark hues intensified the dramatic atmosphere, while warm accents brought a sense of intimacy and seasonal richness.
The pieces revealed a thoughtful approach to versatility, with silhouettes that transition naturally from day to evening. Sculptural dresses and structured forms offered a composed, timeless aesthetic, while layered elements introduced comfort and sophistication – a balance that reflects the needs of the contemporary woman.
