During Milan Fashion Week SS26, Diesel launched an immersive event called the Diesel Egg Hunt — a city-wide treasure hunt that turned fashion into a dynamic game. Starting at Piazza Beccaria, participants followed clues to discover hidden Diesel eggs placed across Milan. Each egg revealed exclusive pieces and storytelling elements from the new collection.

As a fashion educator and communicator, I saw this as more than just a brand activation. It was a bold step into experiential fashion—where Gen Z could participate, explore, and connect with style in a playful, physical way. The outfits placed with each egg were stunning, and the hunt itself felt like stepping into a new world of fashion engagement.

The event’s theme, “The Animal Within,” reflected creative director Glenn Martens’ vision for a wild, uninhibited spirit. It wasn’t just Gen Z participating; the streets were alive with a mix of local and global celebrities, all joining the crowd and running from egg to egg. At the heart of it all, in Piazza Beccaria, the energy was electric with live music and a brass band playing Top 40 hits, creating a celebratory atmosphere for everyone.
