From April 20 to 26, Milan once again becomes the epicenter of global creativity as Brera Design Week 2026 returns for its 17th edition within the framework of Fuorisalone. Set in the heart of the Brera Design District, this year’s theme, “Essere Progetto” (Be the Project), redefines design as an evolving process—an attitude and cultural responsibility that connects people, places, and communities.
More than a showcase of final products, the 2026 edition positions Brera as a widespread urban laboratory where creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation engage in constant dialogue. With over 300 events, including installations, exhibitions, and activations, the district transforms into an open platform for experimentation, reinforcing its role as one of the leading hubs of international design.
This year, the program is enriched by both established showrooms—over 200 across the district—and a dynamic presence of international brands, designers, and cultural institutions, further expanding Brera’s global relevance.

A key innovation of this edition is the introduction of the Fuorisalone Passport, a digital platform designed to simplify access to events through a single registration system, enhancing the overall visitor experience and encouraging deeper interaction across the district.
Visually, the 2026 identity is shaped by illustrator Chiara Ghigliazza, who captures Milan through the intimate perspective of its iconic tram journeys—transforming everyday observation into a vibrant and dynamic narrative of the city.
